Victoria is a great teacher – I have been having weekly lessons  with her for several months and I always look forward to them. The lessons are fun, interesting and varied. Victoria is great at explaining French grammar and vocabulary and you will quickly be able to make conversation on lots of different topics. I particularly enjoy Victoria’s lessons because she creates a comfortable and relaxed environment where I feel able to push myself to use more challenging vocabulary each week, which provides an opportunity to progress each lesson. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Victoria!

Victoria is a terrific teacher. I struggled for over two years  taking lessons from Alliance Francaise and couldn’t speak French. A friend from class referred me to Victoria. What a world of difference. She prepares lessons to meet your specific needs. She quickly assessed what I needed to learn and began teaching using a variety of methods including homework that reinforces what she’s taught. During our lessons she includes listening and speaking exercises. She also takes notes and lists any new French words or phrases with their English meaning. She maintains this learning material in an easy to access Google doc. All of this has really helped me. Now I can finally actually speak some French. Merci, Victoria.

From the beginning, it is clear that Victoria carefully assesses your level and tailors her lessons to your needs and skills. Every week we build on the concepts from the week before, and the homework provided really solidifies the concepts. Her patience with me speaks volumes as I am very new to French and don’t have much knowledge at the moment, but she knows how to work within my level and make me feel comfortable and confident. In the lessons we use Google Docs, which is great as we track all progress from previous lessons there which makes review very easy. Also, when I am unsure of what she may be asking or saying, she will type it out so I can better understand which helps a lot. T’es la meilleure, Victoria! Merci beaucoup!

I have had lessons with Victoria for 16 months, and she is fantastic in every way.
